Meet The Owner

Hi, my name is Chris. I’ve been collecting and selling household items and antiques for the past 25 years. Inspired by my grandparents, who were heavily involved in the industry, I held my first estate sale at 19. This industry has always been my passion, and my favorite aspect is the unique items and people I encounter along the way.
 

Building Expertise

Throughout the years, I have worked in various sales positions and spent several years as a Collections Technician at a museum. During this time, I spent weekends scouring estate sales in the Metro Detroit area, not only collecting but also observing how companies valued their items. I quickly realized the fine balance of passion, knowledge, and professionalism required when walking into someone’s home. Knowing the correct price point to sell items within a 3 or 4 day period while maximizing profits for the client is key to a successful sale.

 

Founding Clearview

I saw an opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for antiques to help those without the know-how. At 19, I held my first estate sale, and the advertising paid off with a line down the street. Fast forward 17 years, and I am still at it, now with a large crew behind me and a long list of satisfied clients.
